I don't know why the dog can only have tilapia and quinoa. I have a dog w/ two-time acute pancreatitis and he can eat any lean meat or fish and any low residue carbohydrate. White meat chicken or white turkey and very lean meats comparable to tilapia. I would trim any fat you see off the chicken. I hope you are adding supplements to the diet if this is going to become his regular diet.
