The scent is a little heavy for me because I have migraines and sinus problems, but I like the way it smells. However,it is not drying for Katie's coat or skin. She has a silk coat, but she has so much hair. I have cut her hair since she was too hot and into everything when playing outdoors, but the attached photo was of Katie at 2.5 years when she was still with her breeder. She came to live with us when she was three. I love long hair on Yorkies, but I love Katie in both long and short hair. A good shampoo and conditioner really helps to keep them tangle-free. |
Hmmm. I'm confused because I am quite sensitive to strong smells, and what I like about the IOD 10 & 51 is that it is a very subtle smell. It isn't something that lingers for days IMO. ZoE just smells clean, she doesn't smell like anything specific or strong.
I bought a bottle of "everyday Isle of Dogs silky coated brush spray" at my local pet supply store. Its scent is called "jasmine vanilla" and it smells horrible to me and is nothing like the other products. The everyday line is much cheaper and has a much stronger smell that I don't like.
