Yes, I did take them myself. I've been practicing. I used natural lighting by letting the blinds open a bit as well as turned the lamp on in the room. I turned off the flash, set the aperature to f/1.8 and upped the ISO to 800 or 1600. I'm lucky that I have a very patient subject as well, he loves to pose
And yep I ordered some cards!
