It will help if your dog has food allergies which is pretty rare and I feel your dog more then likely has environmental allergies. My dog as IBD and that is caused by food allergies so she has been on it a few months but I use the small breed one because she's picky about her food size. She is a normally a very picky eater but has no problems eating this food.
