Well, strangely, my vet (who specializes in small breeds but his passion is the YT) told me today that brushing does nothing for the dogs teeth apart from prolong the need for a professional cleaning which should be done regularly under gas and local anesthetic. So, his advice to me today was to not bother brushing Teddy's teeth and to not think that "dental chews" do anything for him apart from prolong the time required between cleaning and entertain him!

I'll give more updates re: the visit after the weekend but I found this interesting!! Not the advice I expected.
