Could she have a heart attack? I have written before about how fortunate I am in that my 3 1/2 year old Yorkie hardly ever barks. I have had her almost a year, and she has probably barked 20 times (or so I thought).
She is the perfect Yorkie.
I have started to tape record her while I am gone. She is hardly ever alone, as my parents grandog sit alot.
Ends up she she pants non-stop, and barks constantly. She gets so worked up that it breaks my heart.
Unless I set up the recorder myself, I would never believe that this was my girl barking.
I think she could be doing harm to her nervous system, or possibly have a heart attack.
Does anyone else have this problem, and what can I do?
I am going to call the vet tomorrow to see if she can take a mild sedative, or something, but thought I would ask her before I call.
Thanks.
Kate
