 help with pancreatitis
I want to pass on info I learned from my Yorkie Spud diagnosed with pancreatitis. My vet had me do an ultrasound on Spud, he was vomiting and terrible diahrrea. Now he can only have tilapia and quinoa. Plus his meds-cerenia, prednisone, metrodiazole and some Pepcid ad for his tummy. That dog has really turned around and is not showing any problems. We will need to carefully watch his diet. I hope this helps someone out there dealing with this awful intestinal disease. Do not feed Yorkies anything too fatty. It can bring it on. I gave him Costco chicken vet said is fatty. Watch that stuff. |
