You do have to be very careful. Years ago I had my little yorkie stolen out of my yard. A few weeks later someone advertised on a radio swap shop that they had a "Yucatan Terrior" for sale. I called and made arrangements to go see the dog on the off chance it was my little Sissy. It was. I told the woman it was my dog and she just said that someone had given it to her. I didn't argue with her. I just gave her the $50.00 she was asking and got out of there. Learned my lesson. Never let them out of your sight when they're out side.
