The alcohol in the ion conditioner is a fatty alcohol, it's supposed to be moisturizing. I've never heard that about glycerin, thanks.

The coconut oil seems to have helped a little bit, it's been about a week and Lola's hair hasn't dried out yet (it still looks a little greasy, but that's preferable), I'm probably going to have to give her a bath twice a month to keep it under control.
I think I'm going to try my hair stuff on her next (bed head moisture maniac), and I'll grease her up with the coconut oil the day before again.

I took these pictures last night after brushing her, she's on my dining room (grooming) table in the first 2 pictures. Excuse the mess, it's Christmas related.
This is also why I haven't cut her hair yet, she has pretty ombre hair.
