Congratulations he is adorable. I brought my puppy home at 8 weeks for the same reason of the mother stopped nursing the litter. It was a litter of 3 and my pup was the last one to come home. I haven't had any problems or concerns with her at all and I still keep in contact with the breeder weekly. My baby is now 11 weeks old and I was told that her expected adult weight would be under 5 pounds but this isn't my first yorkie so I know enough not to put money on it lol. Her parents were both very small but that doesn't mean anything. I wouldn't care if she ended up to be 5 or 15 pounds. The smallest adult dog I had was around 3 pounds and I would have given up almost anything to put a couple of more pounds on him. Im sure you will enjoy your new addition and love him lots no matter how big/small he gets. |
