The diapers should be changed whenever they are soiled. You could rinse the area with warm water if it's messy but that's typically why they lick excessively.... |
I was at the vet about a week and a half ago to check a concern in her back but it was nothing and I told him to check her vulva because it was irritated and she kept licking it alot and he asked me if she was peeing normal and I told him about a month ago she has been peeing alot more then the usual but it just stopped recently, at the visit he suggested a UTI test to check if it was UTI. Im going to wait till her menstrual part of the cycle is over to get a urine sample hopefully it was just because she was in heat that her vulva looked reddish.
