Years ago, we went to a really super resturant outside of Scottsdale, Az.....Pennicle Peak. It is (was!!) a SUPER steak house if anyone is in the area and has never been....for dessert, they had hot apple pie with cinnamon ice cream! It was to die for!!! I will be saving your recipe for the cinnamon ice cream, to give it a try! The basic custard is the same as my grandma's, and it is great! |
Ok, I'm brave enough to try it now. If it's good enough for you and your Grandma then it's good enough for me!!!!
I will let you know how it goes and you do the same for me if you plan on trying this recipe before December 19th!
