Due to the small size of Yorkies, any weight gain or loss in oz is monumental sometimes, so it is important to have scales which are accurate.
Postal scales or kitchen scales (digital ones) are amazing. I use kitchen scales with Teddy as they go up to ten pounds and he's currently 4lbs 2oz.
