Your vet can get the drugs, but it requires an enormous paper trail undertaking to send patients home with a supply. So most choose to just script out now. With Tramadol I had a heads up and got a mammoth supply. Otherwise we would just get it from the pharmacy. In your case I am not sure (but major vet hospitals in your area may fill it with a script).
