When I have a question about medication, I like to contact the drug company making the drug. There are actually vets out there that may not be right up to date on cutting pills....I would go straight to the horses mouth. I will share what I was told by a drug company I was questioning once...."If the pill/tablet is scored, it is safe to cut on the scored mark. If the tablet is NOT scored, or if it is enteric coated, be on the safe side and do not cut it." |
