Alrighty. Thursday I took Sammy and Callie out to go potty. Sammy went poo poo and I saw something white in it and told my mom she needed to come check his poo. She checked it and there were several little rice looking things in it and she picked one up ( with a paper towel) and showed it to me. Well Sammy hates rice and won't eat it and no one has had it and there is no way he could have had it. I did a little research and it looked like a tapeworm segment. We called the vet a Friday and described it and they said tapeworm and we could come get dewormer and they suggest Callie needed it too just incase. Well everything is saying they come from fleas but Sammy and Callie absolutely do not have fleas never have for sure, I even bathed them Wednesday and nothing. Then I did see something about rats and rabbits carrying them and at my house and my moms we both have rabbits that some how get in the fence. I just am so confused how he got tapeworms. Any ideas?
