Default Help for overweight Yorkie

Hello I am new to the site. I am a yorkie mom to 3 amazing yorkie boys!!! I have a rescue that I need some help with. His name is Baxter; a 7 yr old "chinese-crested teacup yorkie" (though I know there are no true "teacup" yorkies). He is supposed to weigh no more than 3 lbs. But his weight has shot up to over 4lbs & I am not having any success with getting his weight down. When he came to us he sadly had 11 infected teeth that had to be pulled; so chewing is a challenge for him...yet he's hungry all the time...He is a neutered male & also has arthritis pretty bad (which being overweight doesn't help) & doesn't get around or play a lot...does anyone have any feeding suggestions for me to help this great little guy???
