Dog are developing and more allergies (including food) from overexposing them to toxins. These include over vaccination. Giving steroids or any other medication should be your last line of defense since it undermines everything else working in the body. Giving a grain free food helps since it is very hard for dogs to digest grains and the oil supplements the omega 3's and 6's, sometimes eliminating all itching.
