Our Yorkie is 3lbs full grown. At 9 weeks when we got him he was 1.2 lbs. It is incredibly small. But I have to give him credit, they learn very quickly that they need to stay out of the way.
I'm not sure but I think walking him on a leash helped him learn to avoid feet. We walk him with a short leash, so he walks on our left side along with us and not in front or behind.
The only concern is him sneaking out of places. Now that we've had him for 2 years, there is nowhere on our property he can run out of.
We also just got a 15lb puppy. And our Yorkie stays out of harm's way with him as well. |
