Oh, Betty! I'm heartbroken to hear of your son being taken so horribly! How you have borne this awful tragedy is unimaginable. I hurt for you. I'm so sorry this happened to your dear, dear one. A son is so special to his mother. May God have a respite for you and your family soon as you all walk through this catastrophic valley of horrors and hopefully, soon, get through and out of it with hope for the future.
I'm thankful to hear that your DH has come through his treatment and is doing well - what a wonderful answer to prayer and outcome for you two and the family. Such a blessing to have him there still by your side after all these years together.
It's said tragedy comes to us all in this life in one form or the other but some losses just seem so much deeper and painful than others, especially when it involves our children. Reach out for God's hand, walk on as you are able and may He visit His healing, strength and peace on you and your family.
