Just to comment on this - my vet says this should be something to watch out for and consider spaying to prevent at around age 5.
There are many studies showing benefit of waiting to spay.
But on to the behavior - have you taken her to a vet? Perhaps she's hurting and very protective because of that. Something to think about. |
