It's funny how dogs react differently to collars and to wearing clothing. My Karlee also gets mopey when I put her collar on or a dress. She mopes around like a beaten dog and hides. All of my other pups don't mind wearing things.
However I find that Karlee does get used to it and will act normal after a while, so when it is necessary I put it on then give her treats and try to play and distract her, then I ignore her. She gets over it ok. |
