It is really hard to predict the size of a puppy at maturity without knowing the ancestry of the pup. Breeders who line breed sometimes can make an estimate because they know the background of the line and how they generally mature but it is still just an estimate.

If you got your pup from a breeder that does not keep track of the genetic history of their dogs then it is a huge guess because the gene pool is so large. They can produce large and small pups in the same litter.

A puppy that is already 3.4 pounds at 10 weeks probably is going to be somewhat larger than 6 pounds but how much larger is going to be unknown until he is over a year old.
