Just remember don't get ahead of yourself. It could very well be something innocuous, and the specialist should be able to clearly advise you if that is so.
Hang in there until you go to the specialist. At least he doesn't appear to be in any pain, and the eye is not tearing up etc.
I do know how hard it is to wait to find out what is going on. Enjoy your holiday weekend and try not to stress out too much.
