From what I have learned the CKC in America = Continental Kennel club is not a reputable registry anyone can register with them. Their website implies that they are a registry for purebred dogs but that is not true. In Canada the CKC Canadian Kennel Club is like our AKC American Kennel Club that does keep a registry of the purebred lines. Even with theses registries bad breeders can register their dogs so you really have to research the breeder. Here are some good tips from the YT library
