Hello Everyone, thank you for allowing me to become a member in YORKIE TALK.
I am presently looking to foster a yorkie or yorkies in my home. I usually foster for the CT HUMANE SOCIETY, and have for a pretty long time, but the fostering has been very slow lately and therefore I would like to offer my fostering services to a YORKIE RESCUE organization in or around CT.
I am a 56 year old retired RN, living with my husband. My children are all grown and do not live at home.
I usually am given animals that have a defect, illness, injury, abused neglected, multiples problems with multiple medications and more.
I live in a one story ranch on about an acre of land with 95% surrounded by fencing. The other 5% will be put up after the room we are adding in the back is done.
I have a 6 yo male Maltese named Boo, he is neutered and up-to-date on all shots. I also have a 9 wk old kitten adopted on 11/22/14 from the CT HUMANE SOCIETY. His name is Lionel, he is a male, neutered and all up-to-date with his shots.
Both pets get along very well with other animals, both dogs and cats.
