Welcome to YT, you adopted the dog 3 days ago, the first thing you do is take the dog to a vet for a full check up ASAP, to ensure the dog is healthy. I have to assume this was not done. It is impossible for anyone on line to know what your new baby may have. When it comes to dogs ear, a vet visit is an absolute must. Please take this new little baby to a vet faster then ASAP.
