Teddy started barking today at the click the central heating makes and cars outside, etc. He doesn't normally do this but I find he'll do it after the weekend and I've assumed its because the house has a 'different' sound when its just me and him compared to when it's hubby, teen and me.
I think environmental sounds can trigger sensitivity to noises and, thus, barking. I would suggest correcting him with a firm NO every time he barks inappropriately.
I'm sorry you haven't slept well because of it (I've been there!) but I think correction will fix the problem. |
