Yes his pad is in the pantry. Thats the only place I have pads. Sometimes he does go right to it but too much freedom he goes to other spots. He will not pee on the hardwood. Just the rugs. Bathroom, family room bedrooms. But I don't know why he is starting to go on the furniture. I really hope it stops. I do praise him when he goes outside. My friend has a 14 year old yorkie and he has always peed and pooped in the house. He never got trained. I don't know how she could stand it. I really don't mind the rugs I can clean those but the couch thats just gross.
