I think the concept is awesome!
I would love to be able to chose all the ingredients, have the vitamins and minerals added to balance it, and get a kibble I feed confident feeding. I'm not a great cook, so while I like the idea of home cooking for quality, kibble is a better daily feeding option for me, but I want quality kibble. Some companies realize consumers want choices and will pay for it.
I wish Royal Canin had been more in touch with their customer base. I would gladly have paid more to keep a quality protein as the main ingredient, rather than settle for by-product meal and maintain the price point.
