Emma is still a puppy so her hair is still growing. I like that she has a silky, easy to maintain coat but I keep it to about her "knees". I think that's a good length as it's easy to manage. Her underside is shaved and under her armpits because that's where she mats.
I actually perfer a modified schnauzer cut so I maybe will try that later but I'm going to give this long hair a go for a while. Troy was always kept short because if I let his hair get long, his ears would flop over and he wasn't cute that way (IMO).
