I can't imagine Jackson with long hair, or myself having to maintain it... I am far too lazy lol. I don't even brush him, like ever, except on bath days when I fix up his face and tail every 10 days or so.... the short look just suits him & his lifestyle. In the summer, it would be a pain from all the swimming he does, in the winter the snowballs getting stuck, etc. He is too active. He also HATES being fussed with and messed with, so likely wouldn't tolerate lots of brushing and maintenance.

He stays like this year round. It does grow out a bit in between groomings but not a lot. He gets groomed every 8-10 weeks.
