Max and Teddy are in full coat. The first reason is that I tried doing a puppy cut on Max when he was a puppy and I wasn't very good at it.
The second reason is that the hair hides how thin their legs and necks are, which helps me worry less about them being fragile.
I have cut inches off of their topknots and beards shorter on occasion.
I am tempted to shave the saddles like many people are doing. Would be much easier to care for. The boys would definitely be shocked at first. They love their hair.
