My 3 1/2 year old girl has had fleas twice this year, only times ever, she has had a lot of red spots on her belly and around her butt. i got a pill from the vet to give her tonight and i have cleaned the house really well, that was days ago. I soaked her in water and tried dawn detergent also, and rinsed her off just fine. she gets groomed in two days and was told that may help with irritation. does anyone have any extra things i could try to help her? shes on a diet of NF canned wet dog food because she had a possible liver shunt last year, and the only other thing she eats is treats under 15% crude protein as they said, and a tad bit of popcorn here and there. thanks!
