Make sure you know how to prevent and how to spot hypoglycemia, and be ready for a trip to the ER ASAP if you see it, as they are really fragile until about 10-12 weeks and can go downhill in the blink of an eye. Keep your pup inside so she can't pick up parvo or other diseases from other dogs/cats/animals that have been in your yard/apartment grounds/etc until she has gone through all her puppy shots (I don't think you'd even begin them until about 8 weeks or so, and they're usually 4 rounds). And I second getting a checkup from your vet.
