If it's in the news, it seems to be plastered everywhere. I don't have tv service by choice, and don't subscribe to any newspapers, yet just by being online I am made aware of all the current news events whether I want to be or not.
If any site asks "is this relevant to you" or "do you want to see items like this" I always check NO. I am constantly clicking the "I do not want to see this" on people's FB posts, and am often disgusted by what some people share, including close friends and family. I am extremely squeamish and don't want to see those images. |

Well, thanks to Cha-chas suggestion above, I have set my homepage to National Geographic. If I want news, I have to actively seek it which is not likely to happen...YAY
