I found out with my Zoey for SOME reason , commercial dog food just doesn't make her tummy feel very good. One night, and we still don't know WHY, she started vomiting and became very lethargic, ended up in ER for 2 days.
Long story short they put her on Hills ID , canned ,I couldn't believe she would eat it, but she loved it. It made her FEEL better. She was like a different dog!
Please try it....get directly from the vet....its for sensitive tummys.
A month later she seemed so much better , growing and gaining weight , she did get tired of it and had to be coaxed to eat it so I jusy switched over to home cooking....which is sooooooooo easy .....must try! Read up on it , my vet recommended....
She comes running now at mealtime ...happy baby....this was this past summer and is now a year and a half old.
