Help yourself to the poem, I just grabbed it off the net of course, google is grand at times. There may be other poems like it, emphasizing that the deceased would want us to move forward and not get tied down by sorrow for too long, I couldn't find another one though while searching Tues night. Of course it's easier said than done, moving forward, but, well, we should try... Sorry about your aunt and brother.

It wasn't the easiest thing to leave the animal shelter without Zoey, but since I didn't feel 100% sure she was the one, I don't regret leaving her in good hands, the humane society runs it now rather than the county or city. They place so many dogs with new homes that they bring dogs from Eastern WA, Yakima for instance provides a large number to the Seattle animal shelter... about 150 miles one way. I'll keep checking the different agencies occasionally, if it happens, it was meant to be. If not, that's ok too. I guess, I dropped a couple of posts in here to show other YT newbies like myself that there are lots of options if you'd like to give a home to a friend. Animal shelters in neighboring cities could be searched as well as the ones near home.
