I'm really in awe of what can be done. I don't know if anyone here has had a dog with PDA, but when I would hold him before - you could feel his little heart beating so quickly and hard in his chest. If I held my ear to the side of him - I could hear this loud whooshing sound. Now when I hold him. His heart beat is a soft, steady rhythm. The whooshing sound is completely gone and I only hear the light, steady beat. Truly amazing.

Yes, it really is amazing! While I didn't foster the most recent one that we had, I was able to watch it. She didn't stop after her surgery .. she was recently adopted and is expected to live a long life.
