I would have eaten the rabbit, making sure it didn't go to waste but there really aren't that many people that would know how to prepare it so I understand the burial. There's always youtube videos on preparing a rabbit for the frying pan! If you're up to that... again... I understand if you're not. It's really not that more involved than preparing a fresh caught fish.

I'm surprised whenever I hear these type of comments from the general public: "Why don't they buy store meat where no animals were hurt to make it? " Some people really believe that! LOL
