WOW, Jackson must be fast! I know you feel terrible, I would too but honestly it is his instinct.
Sophie Kate killed a Carolina Wren in our garage once, it was stuck to one of those sticky mouse trap things so I had to get her unstuck first and then try to remove the poor Wren.
Needless to say we removed all mouse traps after that incident, I am not a fan of mice but I will not kill an innocent bird ever again. Now we just have mice but it is not an attractive place for them to hang out.
