UPDATE: I took Maggie to the vet today and by the time we got there, she clearly had a large abscess on the top (not pad) of her front left paw. The Abscess had broken open and was a bloody pussy mess...it was about the size of a quarter. Poor baby...the vet gave her a shot of antibiotic right away and then she went into surgery to have it properly drained and cleaned. I will be able to pick her up late this evening thank goodness, I didn't want to leave her alone over night...how she got this abscess I have no idea...vet thinks he might have more info when I pick her up. Have any of you experienced this with your pups?
