I use essential oils for a lot of things.
A friend gave me some dog shampoo & conditioner, and while the products work ok, they have little to no lingering smell. They are huge bottles, so I poured some of each into smaller bottles that will fit better in my shower and I added a few drops of Lavender oil to each bottle and shook it up! They smell amazing! And the scent lingers days longer after a bath. I plan on adding Sandalwood to the next set I mix up. And will decide which I like best for the third batch, or maybe try a different oil altogether.
Anyway, what about adding essential oils if you have a product you like, but aren't too crazy about the smell?
