Hi, and welcome to YT. Sorry I don't know anything about hernis's so I can't help you there. I just wanted to say that I am thinking about doing the same thing as you when it comes to breeding my female. My mom has a male yorkie and if we do then we were going to do the same thing when it come to giving them to family members for just the price that we put in vet bills for them. My grandmother use to raise toy poodles and another small breed so she will be able to help us through everything so that would be the only thing I would want to say, just to have someone that knows small breeds well to help out when the pups come. (In my case were hopeful on wanting to breed but my girl doesn't seem to be growing as fast as we thought she would and if she doesn't get to 7lbs. like my moms male then were just going to have her spayed)
