I have to post again because I've read on some more and I was contacted by someone who got a pup a few days ago from Terry. Her puppy ALSO has ear mites and kennel cough! I don't trust Terry anymore. There was some fishiness, but I wasn't sure. Now I know I wasn't a unique situation "by chance" my dog had ear mites and kennel cough. I'm sure my luca came with ear mites. I'm sure she has a problem at her place with it.
I'm now scared. I'm wondering if I will have further issues with Luca and what I should do now with this info. I do not want an repeat of Concretegirl's experience or anything of that nature! I'm hoping it's just parasites (which is treatable) and the kennel cough, which he is healed from.
What are my options other than getting a pet insurance? Anything? Just pray for a healthy puppy?
I'm kicking myself for not doing more research..I did a lot of research! Days of it - weeks of it! I was also trying not to break the bank. ( Her price for my pup was a bit lower than most breeders.) I've looked at so many websites and read up. I guess if I googled Terry I would have found the few posts on her here on YT. Why didn't I do that?!!! Maybe I was too excited - or fell for the "sweet looking" website and sweet words.
Any suggestions? I called Terry and she knows Luca has kennel cough, that I found a flea on him and ear mites. She said if the vet saw ear mites b/4 she sent him to me, he would have just sent meds and Luca would still be good to sell.
