I am very sorry to hear you feel this way about your pup. Good looks are fun, but a bond with a pet should go much deeper than a little hair.
Can you upload a photo to photobucket and post a link here? Maybe if we saw a photo of your pup we can help you figure out what is going on with his coat that you don't like.
