Default Hello from Canada!

Hi everyone,

I have used the YT forums as a helpful resource for some time now, but finally got around to joining. We have a 2 year old, male Yorkie. We've always had big dogs previously, so this has been a huge learning experience for us. We got Chewie for my daughter, but inadvertently, he has totally become my dog. I cannot believe how much I love him, and I never really cared for small dogs before. Although, to be fair, my exposure to them had not been positive (two aunts had seriously yappy, annoying, poorly behaved small dogs when I was growing up, so they really gave small dogs a bad rep!).

When we got Chewie, I was determined not to have that kind of a dog. We've done quite well. He's so sweet and not yappy at all. He sleeps in our bed and while he doesn't exactly warm my feet, he warms my heart and that's what counts!

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and thanks for all the help over the last couple years!
