My 7 months old yorkie gets no people food or treats...just plenty of love. Recently he has developed this loose stool problem. Vet gave me a med to shoot into his mouth at meals twice a day. Vet had me put him on ID canned food mixed with white rice. Went well for a while but I see it is back again today. Its the consistency of mud and hard to get out of the grass, not very pleasant to accidently step into. Now I am on my way to Vet for more meds and ID. The breeder told me she noticed it from time to time with the father and mother of this pup. I'm wondering now if its a genetic defect or just common to the breed.
