I read these posts about Little biewer yorkies and Terry and felt I need to add my experience so people can come to their own conclusions about what they will support.
I recently purchased a puppy from her. I got him a little over a week ago. My experience with her has been a bit puzzling. I always want to give a person the benefit of the doubt and not judge too hastily. But I will state my experience because I feel the responsibility to do so.
She was great with communication. She always got back to me and answered all my questions, sent me videos and pictures. Her dogs are beautiful and she seems to love them. I don't think they are overpriced - it's equivalent to what breeders ask for pups. It seems her life is all about these dogs. When I voiced some doubt about buying the dog, she offered full refund and told me I am not obligated to buy him.
But a few things that raised slight red flags:
She has many, many animals. More than shown on her site. She breeds cats, yorkies and biewers. She has pups that she doesn't advertise on her site. But maybe she advertised them elsewhere and are spoken for. It just made wonder what really goes on at her house.
Also, in the short time from the deposit and the final payment, she moved. I have no idea how she moved her whole operation in such short time. It seems back in april she was living with her mom. Then she must have moved out and then moved back into her mom's house since that's where she is now as of end of October.
She sent my pup to me via a pet nanny when he was 9 weeks old. He being so small I personally would have preferred 11-12 weeks, but I left that up to her to decide. I questioned her about it and she said it would be okay.
When I picked him up at the airport and was carrying him outside, I noticed a bad odor in his right ear. I didn't think much of it.
A few days after he got home, he got kennel cough and gave it to my older puppy. She said they could get stressed and contract it. I believe her - he was fine when we got him.
I also noticed a flea on him. But she has many animals and lives in florida where bugs are superfluous. It would be hard not to have a flea with the amount of animals she has. I treated him.
Then, a few days ago, I noticed his ear was very dirty - black things like coffee grinds. It was smelly and when I wiped his ear I even noticed some blood. I found out it was ear mites. That kind of explains the smell from his ear at the airport.
Terry apologized and said he got a clean bill of health from the vet the day b/4 he left and she personally cleaned his ears and maybe during the travel got them since the pet nanny brings so many dogs around the world.
But not sure...He had quite a bit of debris in his ears and didn't seem like a recent infestation. It's very contagious and now my older puppy has gotten them too.

So so far, my experience with my new pup has not been very good. I just wonder if with so many animals, the parasites are getting out of hand over there. and if that is the case, needs to be addressed.
I can't say from these things that it makes her a bad breeder - I wouldn't call her that from the little info I have.
But, with all the awful people out there scamming and trying to make a buck from pups, I feel people should share their experience as much as possible so we can all make good choices.
I would love to hear more experiences from others. Maybe to the dismay of others, I haven't ruled her out yet. I may even purchase another pup from her in the future. My little guy is so sweet, gentle, affectionate and adorable.
I would have loved to personally meet Terry in her home.
Hope this helps someone, and I appreciate all of you who share your experiences.
