Thank you so much for your healing prayers! Haden rested well last night and his pain is under control. The latest report is that he is comfortable except for the tube down his throat and of course not being able to eat. He will have another CAT-Scan on Monday to see how well the tear is healing. If the scan shows good results and his small intestine isn't leaking he may get to start on clear fluids. If all continues to go as well as they have so far
then we expect he will get to come home next week.
From what I understood, Haden fell on the bleachers at school during PE yesterday. He is quite slim and DR's believe that the impact pushed his small intestine against his backbone causing the tear. WOW that's hard to believe!
